Gimme a post-training BBQ: Weds 13 August

Ahh, thank god it’s summer. And thank god for the Club! Superstar Socialite Karen has fixed up a new date for some meat-eating antics, so add Wednesday 13 August to your diaries! We’ll be having a BBQ on the beach just after training. We’re bringing the heat, so you bring the meat!

Seriously, what the Club’s going to provide is the fabulous following:

2 disposable BBQ’s (1 for veggie & 1 for meat)

2 big salads (home made potato salad and one other)

ketchup and mustard

french sticks

paper plates and forks and napkins

You bring what meat you would like to eat: tuna steak, sausages, veggie burgers etc

& something to drink….

No more sessions on Sundays

Just so’s you all know – there are no more training sessions on Sundays!’cause were consolidating all the training goodness to a time when people are more flexible: Wednesday nights

Yes, join us and our stellar coach Brett at 7pm every Wednesday at Yellowave for an hour of huffing and puffing on the volleyball courts. He caters for beginners on up. Even if you’ve not picked up a ball in yonks, he’ll treat you right.

BBVC BBQ: 4 June 2008

Mmm mmm, there’s nothing better than some chargrilled foodstuffs after a heavy evening of volleyball! And with the weather so fine (it will be fine, it will be fine), how can we not have a BBQ?

Come one come all – volleyball players (and their friends) of all colours, creeds and abilities! We’re hosting the first BBVC social on 4 June at Yellowave during (and after) the club training session from 6-9pm.

Only £3.50 each for burger/sausage/veggie

We run club training sessions at Yellowwave Beach Sports Venue on Madiera Drive (across from Concorde 2) every Wednesday night from 7-8pm and Sunday afternoon from 3-4pm. The sessions are aimed at everyone, from beginners on up, so come along and join in the fun!
